Just Where the Heck Have You Been???

Well, working and recovering from strep throat and dealing with snow days and recovering from the flu (I guess; I avoided the doctor for this one) -- what a month January was!!

I've been reading a lot of Young Adult books, too. If I'm ever seriously going to consider writing for NY publication, I think it will be with YA. There are at least three YA plotlines brewing in my brain right now.

Working, whew, I've been busy! Busy is good, you know, but I think I'm internalizing stress (or something), which makes me sick almost every time I finish edits. Not productive at all! Needless to say, I'm super excited about all of the upcoming releases I have; lovely covers, h-o-t and sexy stories -- what more do you need?

As for writing, well, that's fallen by the wayside. It hasn't been for lack of trying. I've discovered I need to write daily or else I feel out of practice and overwhelmed when returning to my WIP.

Nothing earth-shattering, that's for certain, but still, I cannot believe it's almost the middle of February! Summer will be here before I know it!!!

You Are a Bit of a Procrastinator

You tend to get things done in a timely manner, but you can't help but put off tasks you hate.

You have no problem getting the fun or easy stuff done. You generally enjoy taking care of responsibilities.

However, if a task arises that you dislike, it might get shelved for a long time.

And even though it's human nature to procrastinate, your procrastination is hindering your productivity.

Take a look at the things you are putting off doing. Do they really need to be done?

Complete any task that's important. The other stuff you're procrastinating is probably not worth doing.

First Taste by Lyra Marlowe

Repressed and bossy Ellen Meyers gets a shocking peek -- literally -- into her old friends' love life. While she watches through the kitchen window, David and Ariel indulge in some serious submission play on the kitchen table. Though she knows she should be repelled, Ellen can't stop watching. She can't keep from touching herself, either.

But when another Dom discovers her voyeurism, he insists on pleasuring Ellen while she watches the games inside. She's only had a few lovers and she's never had an orgasm with any them. She's certainly never engaged in anything as scandalous as Thomas suggests. She is much too prim and proper for any of that. Or is she?

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: BDSM theme and content, including/not limited to spanking; also contains exhibitionism; voyeurism.
