I Cannot Do It

Really, I just can't do it. I cannot finish Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. This is my second attempt to read it in four months and I just can't. It's like there are too many words, too much information to absorb. I'm sad about this because I've been told it's a good book (and a good series).

Instead, I've begun reading Awaken Me Darkly by the lurvely Gena Showalter.

  1. Wow! I luirved OUtlander. Just could not put it down! Which is why writing is subjective:)

I loved Awaken Me Darkly too. Enjoy!

  2. I ate up OUTLANDER like it was gourmet meal. I'd carry it around and people would say, "You're reading THAT? It's soooo thick!" LOL! It really is on one of the bestest books there is.

And Gena's book totally rocked, too!

  3. The same happened to me with Maggie Shayne's latest "Blue Twilight." Although I've always loved her novels, I couldn't sink my teeth into this one. I've tried - thrice. No dice.
