...my three-year-old and I have discovered the Noggin channel. The Backyardigans, Wonder Pets, Dora the Explorer, Blue's Clues -- how have we lived without you?
I caught a glimpse of The Backyardigans one Saturday morning on CBS a couple of years ago. It was an awkward time slot -- typically when we weren't at home as my son wakes up early, and we hit the road to run our errands -- so he'd never really watched it.
Now that we've been home since Christmas, however, (and once I discovered our cable package actually included the channel) we're watching Noggin a lot. It's fun to watch him yell for Boots, search for clues, sing about teamwork, and pretend. He's so enthralled unfortunately, he's too hyped-up to take his two-hour nap (which Mommy sometimes desperately needs).
